The Fountain
Ethereal hands craft silv’ry cradle, To petal lips, elixir of life ladle, The enchanted entrance, that garden clothed in snow, How within chamber o’ life a soul doth grow, The winter of life shall fall to eternal sleep. Sacred fountain pours forth crimson tears hallowed angel shall weep. Maiden’s crystal hair cascades down wall of white flowers, Glassy eyed warriors stand these endless hours, Dying nature imbued immortal, Phantom waters cast aglow celestial portal, Scarlet stream silently winding through golden fountain, The drapery shalt not fall, not unto this sacred mountain, Quiet ribbon gliding through the soils, of astral land, Through the heart of heaven it gushes, this cherry band, Wed to the life for always, so deep in its waters I wade, Like tree flailing in the wind, courage God hath made, As long as this blood flows through thee, Shall I sail chaste ship through hell forged sea, Gift of soldier’s ardor, holy ire, Feel the burning plight of man, Our own hand doth stir dark fire. Flaxen haired creature o’ sky, From whose golden arms children o’ earth doth not fly, The thoughts, how they stretch across the rafters of souls forlorn, The pure cream domes o' heaven's palaces, like fair face o’ morn’, Like pollen fallen on glassy earth, snows howl in ashen mirth, Glazed carpets o' frost, snow queen's scepter lost, Deep into man's netherworlds o' legend and lore, From silken soul bleeding threads gently tore.
