Torn Reflection
I look into the mirror and wonder where I went wrong. The smile is fake and the blush is gone. Pasty white, Nothing is right. I try a different angle, maybe a different face. Trying to make myself look normal, not out of place. Something new, Not too showing and not too true. The snarl is too weak, the growl is too soft. My eyes are too telling, I couldn’t help but scoff. Angry with myself, I turn away from what I didn’t want to see. Who am I? Is that really me? I don't know where I am, and I can't seem to feel I know I'm living a life, but nothing seems real. It doesn't make sense, and I don't know where to start. How can I put things together so they aren't falling apart? The day's gone to night, and I can't recall a thing, I wonder what tomorrow is going to bring?
