Whispers In the Wind
I still keep your email address and your phone number in my contact file/s. I don’t know maybe it was your time to go but who knows for sure; Maybe I could have made a difference or at least prolonged it a little. I never saw it, it was too close for me to spot and I was looking from behind a wall. We could have never been like that for a lot of reasons; But there was other ways to be that might have made it different for both of us. When you saw me ready to give up you were right there; Telling me to come up and stay with you.; What I needed right then was in my face but I couldn’t see it. Life and love isn’t always about sex is it but now I know you loved me; You loved me in a way I didn’t even know I needed but t’s too late now. I’ve never gone back and like I explained I can’t really; Even remove your email account on yahoo. I don’t know where you are but I sure miss you here; You were a good loving friend and you became; A better person than I ever thought to aspire to; If we ever meet up again I hope you’ll forgive me for being typically stupid back then You’ll always live on in my mind and I’ll always remember; The loving compassion you tried to give me
