Rain,Pain,And Other Things Quite Insane
During September rain under her spell of downpour The mind cries inside It wants nothing more Flash flooding put out the fire The rainbow cannot be seen A child has lost his youth desire Thunder and lightning in the air Pelting golf balls of punishing hail This man is surely drenched But..he cannot really care As surely as the Storm exhale Winds that surge and kneel me to the ground Again,as always..I have put myself back into jail The weather is my keeper who has no mercy For 40 days Of endless nights Someone up there is reminding me in tears to look forward past the deluge instead of rewinding back those years God continues to throw a tantrum and cry Contemplating his wrath: DOES HE WANT ME TO WITHER THUS AND DIE? His Sun has not shine these last few days We are cold, soggy, without the afternoon's rays I cannot tell which way Heaven truly is Or how far distant that HELL is as well Staring out from window pane Continuous wet stream is not at all to blame People may not notice but.. the good Lord still knows my name This month is nearly over October aound the corner bend If the Sun comes out just one more day Here to greet me Before it finally shades away!
