Five One Twelve
5/1/12 FIST IN THE AIR FOR THE WORKER who watches wages drop or dissipate as prices of everything imaginable escalate. FIST IN THE AIR FOR THE WORKER who watches their jobs leave the country because it is cheaper for the wolves to close up shop, “lay everyone off” & run off to somewhere that can be severely exploited. FIST IN THE AIR FOR THE WORKER who wants free health care & better education, instead of cuts to things that matter in order to spend all of our money on guns & bombs to continue killing others in countries full of people we will never personally meet. FIST IN THE AIR FOR THE WORKER who congregates outside the rich ****s on wall street when they have the time to, alongside their brothers & sisters who have already been “let go.” FIST IN THE AIR FOR THE WORKER who pickets the white house & the cretins who “work” there, to protest the ignorance of the unemployed in this country. FIST IN THE AIR FOR THE WORKER who watches the talking heads on television deny that making this country green, would begin to solve so many problems. FIST IN THE AIR FOR THE WORKER who longs for a day when the taking over of our workplaces becomes a reality. FIST IN THE AIR FOR THE WORKER who does not give up in the fight for a better way of life, regardless of the daunting present surrounding them. FIST IN THE AIR FOR THE WORKER in solidarity, together--- our day will come.
