Her Whisper stops me, "Please, Don't." I flutter my wings, Once, twice. "You're my only friend." She puts her hand down, and I glide to it. Landing, I watch her. My black and blue Wings brush against Her cheek as I start To leave. But, she smiles, knowing, That next year, my kids will meet her. Meet her here, in the rose patch.
