Feeling Good
I feel good being next to you I hope your feeling the same way too I can tell you anything And that isn’t me But you make me feel real free So the real me I’m not afraid to let you see Cause Lord knows I have trouble showing my soul I’m not a great man, I know I’ve allowed my pain to turn my heart cold But there’s something about you I don’t know how to explain I just know I smile every time that I hear your name They ask why am I happy now-a-days And I tell them you’re the one to blame I can feel life again looking at you Feeling like there’s nothing I can’t do I want to know everything you been through I’ll tell you everything about me too I’m all about staying true That’s what my grandfather taught me how to do And that’s all I’ll ever ask from you.
