Enter Poem or Quote (Required)Required THE CENTER OF SENSELESS INSANITY Iraq, Iran, Pakistan, Uzbekistan and Afghanistan All with flames of fretful fear to fan This is akin to playing Russian roulette with the earth And many of the casualties were only recently granted birth Babies are being bombed by the bedside of their sisters and their brothers While they run rampant seeking terror’s end at the bosom of their mothers Their fathers are in some far off land defending a torrid territory While destruction aligns with an appalling allegiance to a lurid allegory This is an unpleasant parable of palpable and painful proportions Wherein rulers of a country close their ears to any word of cautions Were this only a fable I could bear the consequences of their defenses Rather I label this a patently predictable path to the pain of paltry pretenses Their banners of belligerence are unfurled for the entire world to see As foreign flags denigrate the designs designated by a demonic decree Blood and bits of bodies stain the material a blameless seamstress used While a pacifist like me is left reeling and readily quite confused The middle of the earth is engulfed in the middle of mayhem, murder and more While the deserts on which they wage war produces corpses by the score And despite the fact that I am an agnostic it begs me any way to pray While I wonder what sort of horror an unholy horde will produce on any particular day © 2012….PHREECEE ~free cee!~
