In My Arms Again
I know that you are truly the half of me that I have searched for Truly the one and only woman I could ever love and adore I know you realize it too and feel the same way that I do From the beginning of time it has always been me and you It’s just a pity that the powers that be kept us far apart in this life You should be with me because you darling are my eternal wife Even distance couldn’t change the feelings I have for you dear Nor does the fact that you are with another instead of being here I know that it’s only in mind and spirit that we can be together I can’t really share with you my body warmth in cold weather Warm thoughts I send your way hoping to make you feel better I just hope that thoughts and wishes can work like a sweater In my heart I pray fervently for the time for you to come home I have prayed for that even in the churches I went to in Rome I know it will surely happen; it doesn’t matter where or when I am quite certain that someday you will be in my arms again
