Riding the Wings of Angels
Riding the Wings of Angels Released like a dove to the heavens my soul is free at last No more pain or sorrow, just memories of my past What once seemed such a distance when I looked up to the sky Now I’m riding the wings of angels as I wave and say goodbye My mansion now awaits, the sidewalks paved with gold The sign out front said vacant but now the sign says sold I enter through the gates the beauty amazing and so surpassed I’m sitting at the feet of Jesus as I get to touch his face at last I know your hearts are heavy and I know your souls must grieve Just know there’s a place in heaven if you only just believe Rejoice my friends in knowing we will be together again it’s true When you ride the wings of angels and until then I say adieu.
