The once bluish-green water Begins to blend with the clouds As though it were a mysterious dream. The small waves break upon the sand In quiet peacfull harmony. The still of the evening relaxes my thoughts As I watch the sun slowly setting And the waves lapping upon the shore. I imagine myself doing the things of my dreams. As I watch the last glow of the setting sun My thoughts fade off into the distance. When none can be seen but the stars, And the flickering lights of a distant town I slowly walk away from the mystical dream And back to the distant glow of my home.
