John 5:39 NKJV Those who really desire Truth Cannot remain in ignorance. The diligent seeker is rewarded With Truth’s heavenly fragrance. They have not closed their hearts And are open to God’s Spirit; Plead earnestly to be shown All Truth so they can follow it. They plead for the gift of faith And are diligent in their search. They let Scripture interpret Scripture; Believing they’ll not be left in the lurch. They hunger and thirst for righteousness And behold their Master above; Are changed daily from glory to glory, As they are transformed by God’s love. They seek to understand history And see that it does align To the Bible’s prophecies Each and every time. They search out the state of the dead And don’t follow the world’s fables. They observe the creation Sabbath; Ignore non-biblical tales. Truth can be found, But diligence is required In seeking what’s been lost— By men’s lies inspired.
