We try to fill the emptiness With many material things. Alcohol, drugs, sex or wealth, But no solace these things bring. To heal broken minds and bodies Is only something God can do. His love is complete for us— Each broken soul made new! Broken people are hurting In every nation of the world; They need the Savior’s love; In his precious arms to be curled. The world cannot free us From this brokenness of soul. Riches let us down and don’t fill us; Fail to make us feel whole. We need the love of the Father To mend our broken souls; To serve others lovingly In our earthly, daily roles. We’re all broken people— Addictions keep many bound. Some take their own lives, When the Savior’s love’s not found. Broken people need God’s healing; Need to be set free… Free from the bondage of evil— Freedom’s for every one of you and me!
