Fear I Can'T Let Go
Look me in the eyes Tell me what I mean to you And a little pain dies Knowing we'll make it through I feel the past in me The scars on my skin But I wonder if you see All the scars that are within Chorus: I have been cheated I've been wronged I've felt defeated But still gone on I hide the pain Cuz I don't want them to know That all that will remain Is fear I can't let go Verse 2: I feel safest here Amongst the shadows So used to being near The darkness that grows It overtakes me once in a while Makes me feel alive And I can't help but smile Cuz I know I'll always survive!!! Chorus x1 Bridge: I've been beaten I've been used All the mistreating From being abused. Yet here I stand now Not showing all the scars Made it through hell somehow Now I'm shooting to the stars!! Chorus x2
