Hunger Games
- Forced into the unthinkable Lives are on the line Somehow I have to take yours Because I will not give up mine I am the girl on fire My soul ingulfed in hate They reaped the only thing I loved Now I am a player in these games Underestimate me That's what everyone has done Except the boy with the bread Cus my starcrossed lover and I have won - Our only chance at hope defied them So the games drag on But these tributes have their own agenda I am nothing but their pawn Those blue eyes, his steady arms No one denies his love And though it is a hunger I cannot tame It's more than I'm capable I've almost accepted the end But then I see it there A weak spot, the chink in the armor I release my arrow into the air -I should be dead It would be better if I was But now I am the Mockingjay The title fits me like a glove I'm what the rebels need It's the only way to end the war Besides, I have to get him back For him, I ache down to my core I have lost what they once reaped Inside there's nothing left So for her, I finish this That symbolic arrow finds Coin's chest -They play there in the meadow The mass grave for my people, not revealed But we live on to make their lives count And my love for him is REAL Although the nightmares show their faces This world is not how its been My dandelion that has shown me hope What I need...is him Soon they will ask questions I don't know what I'll say To explain to my children There are worst games you could play...
