Skydive Suicide
What would you do, if you were told, you're never going to reach old! Your life stories final chapter is about to unfold. Your last living breathing day, is not that far away! Do you whimper and moan in the dark, jumping at every noise and dog bark, awaiting the Reapers grim calling, solemn and stark. You should sing in the Light, laugh and play, make each a glorious day! Before your soul has to make way, for Re-Birth it then awaits. I would wipe my eyes and take to the skies, for a Skydive Suicide! Up,up,up going up so high, past a point that even eagles daren't fly. My Superman fantasy, well, as close as I could manage, look out world below, don't want to cause any damage. I can see Joe's house from here, those rainclouds are closing in near, better ring him quick, because of his washing, before those dark clouds start sploshing. So much to see from up in the air, the local library, the traveling fair, all the different shades in peoples hair. The grounds coming up fast, but it's taking so long, I thought this would be past, and I'd be dead and gone. Those last four minutes, seemed to take much longer, as I neared the earth, I felt my spirit grow stronger. But, before I could squash myself flat, by hitting the ground with a splat, Time stretched thin and Space collapsed within, as I was engulfed by the Brightness with which I had arrived in! ©John-Ovan.P.Hull Die a fun death contest.
