Waves of Life
Life was like a whirl wind that never slowed down Everything was changing; so hard to keep my feet on solid ground New people, new faces, New experiences, new places It was so hectic, so easy to get lost Thrown around on the waves of life, tossed and tossed Nothing made much sense anymore Everything that once was, soon was unsure Until God stepped in and saved my life Everything was made new through Jesus Christ Things started to make more sense, the picture’s coming into focus now And I know I’ll be okay somehow There through it all when times get tough And there when things aren’t so rough He is my shelter in the storm, a refuge for the weak O my God, my life I lay at your feet My darkest days have been made light All through the power and love of Jesus Christ
