O'Er the Hill
Over the hill is a meadow created especially for me.. With a stone wrapped by clouds for my heads rest Oh how I long to get there.. In that meadow, a waterfall pouring so very pure.. Power to cleanse me of events of this side Oh how I long to get there.. A meadow where hills have perfumed lilies, alluring scents.. Ready to cloth me in nothing but his regal majesty Oh how I long to be there.. On the bank of this hill, a golden goblet just for me.. Engraved with my name, holding tears from my past How I must get there... On that special hill hummingbirds tune their voices.. Prepare to serenade through the night Can't you see me there? Soon I'll lie in that meadow created especially for me.. As eagles strengthen their wings to fan my brow One day he'll take me there..
