Well There Goes the Nighborhood
WELL THERE BLOWS THE NEIGHBORHOOD Is it all about two promises and two hearts set upon the same goal? Or is two about two beings becoming one, sharing the very same soul? Or is it more about the places they go and the people they meet? Or does a wife somewhere weep because her husband has been indiscreet? Take for instance backyard bar-b-ques with Bill, Betty and cute little Billy After taken in cogently doesn’t this, with forthrightness, all seem rather quite silly? Not tonight I can’t hon, don’t you remember I have a meeting with that client from Argentina But don’t say a word to the neighbors what we know about Marge and Tina Oh you mean those two sassy blondes with matching pony tails and pink rubber bands Listen honey, you’ve got to know they do a hell of a lot more than hold hands Well my dear, we don’t talk about things like that in this glorious neighborhood Look old lady, shove it because your talking isn’t doing a damned bit of good Or is it about verve vying with vows meant? Or is it the spirit of sprites, two lovers, by one springtime, were sent? Marge, Tina, the mortgage, and little Billy needs a new bike Little Billy’s old one is in perfect condition so tell him to take a hike Is it about nurturing, tolerance and patience and finding favor with good? Or is it about a shallow existence in the above mentioned f*****g neighborhood? © 2011.…© 2011.…Phreepoetree ~free cee!~
