Someone Special
He is my strength when I am weak He is my voice when I can't speak He used to walk the floors with me as a baby I may just love him more than he loves me, just maybe I know that some things I do are tough I know he'll keep me in check by screaming, "enough!" I know we've been raised in two different times I know he'll be there when I can't find my mind I can count on him to come and get me When he's around inside I feel like glee I've put him through some really harsh stuff After those situations he made my life real rough I still remember when he taught me how to tie my shoe I still remember with him the first time I'd ever flew I still remember all the lessons he taught me Everyday I use at least three Being with him makes me so glad Around him I'll never turn sad Sometimes we don't quite exactly agree If he could, he'd give me the world, the sea I'll never, ever, forget his words He taught me about the bees and the birds We sometimes yell and we sometimes fight I'm still his princess and he's still my knight Compared to him I am a zero But he will always be my #1 hero He was there when I became a grad He gave me consequences whenever I was bad I count on him for lots of things If he ran, he'd win the, "World's Best King" He'll be the most beautiful angel with the biggest wings I'm so proud of you even though I don't show it He's the most awesome, I'd have to admit I have to tell you how he is so rad Of course he is, because he's my dad
