Welcome To Heartbreak
W.T.H (Welcome To Heartbreak) My world envelops me into a state of darkness and misery. What happened to us, in my heart and mind remains a mystery. I thought our love would go down in history. But I fell into the trickery. Played by the pessimistic person that I was. The person that does what’s wrong and shoves away the feeling I was given: Love. My world was full of color, excitement, and love, that other feeling. Now, everyone leaving, I remain the only human being in this world that no one else is seeing. In this darkness, I try to find meaning. I try to find my love that I separated from long ago. And throughout the days, the harder I search the faster my heart fades. Your voice raids through my ears every night. And I get my hopes up at the sight of the light at the edge of this darkness. With all my might I fight until I reach that light. You. Face to face, tears swell up in my eyes. Every time, this feels like love never dies. But I always fail to realize that no matter how hard I cry. No matter how hard I try. You always tell me bye. My tears, once again, roll off my cheeks and on they fall to the broken street. For one last time, our eyes meet. I stand my ground and gaze into your beautiful soul. Then I'm swallowed by the cold. My chest goes numb but my eyes stay warm as I watch yours. Once again, my heart opens up like doors and I feel one last jolt of warmth. In a hoarse and empty voice I say, “I love you.” I reached to caress your cheeks and all of a sudden I find what I seek. The colors streak back into my world and I feel that one feeling again. Once again, I fall in love with you. Once again I know what to do, but I can't. I reach forward for a kiss, but I realize my body doesn't feel this bliss. Once again, my world envelops me into a state of darkness and misery. The colors fade away, quite literally. And the cold bitterly bites at my heart and sends me back into my world of trickery. Once again. I lose sight of everything I see. But I feel your presence still with me. I step forward and see you once again. I reached my hand up then. Wishing what was coming up next, wouldn't. I knew this would happen for eternity so I braced myself for this next take. With the sight of you at stake, I reach forward and feel the space between you and my hand enclose, but I make one last effort to touch your face for my sake. Then you slowly fade away as my eyes once again begin to swell. Soon all that’s left is my eternally immense heartache. And I now introduce you to my world: Welcome To Heartbreak.
