Your Greatest Sin
Please don’t bother Is what I have learned Nineteen years I now feel burned He will never see That he did this himself He will always find blame In someone else So easy to do To not take the blame Pass it off At this point, so lame I’m angry right now After we last spoke Take ownership It’s not a joke How long can you go Doing all that you do You think you hurt no one The joke is on you I’m hurting right now One day you will see All that you’ve done What you’ve taken from me You’ve taken the love That I could one day share To both of your sisters Who are still there There for me As you have not been This I do know Is your greatest sin And still all my focus Is right back on you I wish life were better But what can I do You’re laughing and thinking It’s not a big deal Reality is The pain that I feel The child I knew Is no longer there At what point in life Do you say you don’t care?
