Sweet Side of Sorrow
My head is ringing off the hook yet my thoughts are disconnected i try bridging the gap to see the big picture but my view is past due & i have no choice but to respect it CLEARLY its been neglected & misdirected but to my surprise not nearly what I expected, & its reputation now has a common misconception of how it is & how it used to be Even w/o HD the view was clear for me but now my kaleidoscope is filled with lies and false hope.. outta focus, outta sight, outta mind, outta reach, loss of touch, short of time, soulless soul trading broken promises for sad second chances but only getting as far as the other failed advances, the sun & moon dances as they flicker in their light, at least one fallen star refers to them daily for advice, always listening but never thinking twice.. strength is fading like old shading because life is impaling..me.. but still i stand strong as if i were a tree, because no matter what giving up is not my cup of tea..
