Things I Like To Do, When My Work Is Done
When my daily chores are done, the one thing I hope for is some sun. I love to go to the garden and plant and dig, and if I’m lucky, I’ll have some Chardonnay to swig. Sometimes I get in a silly mood, after turning on some tunes. I pretend I’m still in California digging in the sand dunes. There’s just something about hearing an old Al Green song, that makes me want to stay outside in the garden all night long. And, if it is a perfect night, I gather up some wood. A bonfire always has a way to make me feel so good.. There’s just nothing better than a star filled sky, especially while sitting with my favorite guy. Then there are other times when I just want to drive in my car. Just me, Rascal Flatts and Trace Adkins, together, we can’t go too far. But usually my time with them, all too soon comes to an end, when I find myself out on a porch swing, chatting with a friend. Sometime if I get done on time, I like to go to antique shops. And another thing I love to do is go on “gallery hops“. But every once in awhile I just end up sitting somewhere fishin’, so sure that I’ll catch “the big one”, at least that’s what I’m wishin’. I guess this just about covers it all, except for my nightly walks. And the time I spend on “free” long distance, having nice long talks. Copyright: May 22, 2006
