World Gore Three
THIS IS AN ORIGINAL SONG I WROTE BACK IN '45 AND IT GOES A LITTLE SOMETHING LIKE THIS....AHEM WORLD GORE THREE Whenever i am compelled to consider the worst i find myself forced to think of the first the one of whom no one had ever come before the first soldier to die and any wicked war the first fallen who fought for what he felt was right the first slain by another's madness and might the first blood spilled, the first blood bled the first, under battle, who was first to begotten dead Gettysburg, Nuremburg, Normandy and Viet Nam blood bared by every bloody bomb the first fallen in the face of ferocious fear the first to die for that which he held dear i never fought desperately for country nor man cowardice and addiction had a different plan still i summon prayers with every bomb's burst while i cry for the most recent yet still weep for the first (c) 2010....Phreepoetry ~free cee!~
