What a Difference a Letter Makes
What a Difference One Letter Makes By Elton Camp Now that Osama is dead, this story can safely be related About a man who the terrorist leader thoroughly hated It was online this man decided he would put his views So others could read and react to them as they choose He opined that Obama was evil, fanatical and ugly too And that anyone who killed him did a service so true Obama was responsible for the World Trade Center And that into death and hell that man should enter The outraged writer then, in detail, continued to relate What pleasure it would bring him, Obama to assassinate “If the opportunity should ever happen to come around, It would so delight me to shoot Obama to the ground.” Before very long, his writing the Secret Service found And so to his house one evening they came around “All right, you have really messed up big this time. To threaten to assassinate the president is a crime.” His innocence the writer began to protest and to yell In fact, he was only guilty of being unable to spell The difference between “b” and “s” put him on the rack And he was led away with handcuffs behind his back
