Hope
I desired and threw it away leaving me to wither from age which became my death. I possessed riches which were held in a sieve. The seeds I planted have been devoured by time leaving me to starve. What good then is hope, the remembrance of things past which are now dashed asunder against jagged rocks Buried by the sands of time now forever behind me Where then are the promises, were they then meant for just the few. Yes I desired, yet I failed to hold onto the thread of hope that was meant for me. The same hope which now has blown far away from my outstretched hand. Leaving me alone to weep, I threw away my hope looking for that which wasn't meant for me. Becoming a hopeless void of shattered visions A young boy forever restrained and lost in this dried up shell. Alas oh memories of what could be Fare thee well
