May My Children Live
This was written in 1977 for my children. Even though I had only two at that time, it was meant for all of my others who came after them as well. Now it's time to share the dedication of this poem with a beautiful person who loves her child as much as I love all of mine. Thanks Rene Stone - it's so refreshing to see such love from a mother. May My Children Live To walk on the earth’s soil With the soil they shall stand with strength To live in life’s nature Living in nature will make them pure To live with nature’s life For life with life will let them live To feel the glory of the sun For the sun shall give their feelings warmth To be surrounded by the sounds of beauty The surrounding of beauty will open their thoughts Florence McMillian (Flo)
