But What?
I'm a pause in the mid-afternoon hustle a playing card lost when dropped under the table (the would be winning card for your hand last night) I'm the moment you lose when you reach to hindsight. Funny, these people and places with interim spaces which catch me at just the right light- Today I am wondering if I'd still exist if you caught my expression in the midst of a fight. I'm a rock that's gone missing from every hard place the stone from our first wedding ring - (that made it's way straight down some mall restroom sink) I'm the lost and the found, on the verge of the brink Funny, these baubles and bubbles of virgin emotions which haunt us and snap us back into the air Today I am wondering if I'd still be there if you ripped up that sink to it's raw plumbing state. Perhaps, an anomaly shouldn't compare - Just a blurb in a headline gone smeared into grey A powerful voice which has nothing to say- I'm something... (but what?) (when I put it that way) Perhaps it's a matter best left for an epitaph a cyclone of thinking for some other day...
