Promises
I will promise to hold your hand when you make your final stand I will go down with you as far as you can go because i love you more than you will ever know you are my only promise in this forsaken place the one thing i will always love all i need to know is written on your face you are the shining light coming from above I love you more than poetic words can say so please, promise me you can stay sadly i know you can't, sadly i know you won't just don't die, i love you too much, so please don't promise me you will stay around all i can hear is this one, absorbing sound you're dying and I was lying when i said I would go with you that I would be with you wherever you go I guess I always knew that I would lose you tomorrow I promised to stay with you, but you're fading so fast only if time would reverse and we could disappear into the Past I love you more than this emptying life I wish so much that you could have been my wife but promises are broken and all i have is this broken heart as a reminding token that I can't go with you and that I will still love you
