Summer Time Fantasia
Sun beaming gumdrops onto the season's pixies of truth Affectionately dancing to gingerly giggles upon my tingly skin Cotton clouds of powder puff and gentle sweet breezes too Tantalizingly chasing, as they merrily join up with these magical jinns The lilacs and the wildflowers overwhelming with jealousy come in right on their cue With aromas intoxicating the faeries fun, makes my head out of control spin Within backward plunges into such soothing fresh pools Of tall, cool, serene and blades of deep green …summer time fantasias The renaissance of summer comes alive giving nature her due! With the splendors and the spoils all trapped deep within The skies that swirl and fountains which swath with pastel baby blues And I am her willing accomplice never wanting of grandeurs to end Jet stream buzzing ebonies of yellowish honey hues Butterflies fluttering with a tip of the hat, but where a wink and a nod is meant To pursuing visions flying out of the woodland and meadow afternoons That bake upon the songbirds singing, serenading out until their hearts content Evening melodies begin weaving around the loons and then the jitterbugs of this June Why next July then August can I only visit these my dearest friends? My backyard is a paradise, where eagles dare, but leave soon too And the imps of mid season pack up their smiles and pick up their colors and wilds, to begin traveling off to where the summers never end
