Memory Night
a new door has open a new hope has risen as i lay here, staring up at the stars, i start to realize my star is looking a little brighter, the sky, a little less gray a weight has been lifted, an emptiness has been filled the wind is calling me, whispering, playing words to my ear i take in all that it has to give me, i take in everything i see i listen to all that is spoken and i let the words bleed as they seep from me, memories of you pour out of me cleansing me, relieveing me, i dont understand, i dont try i let my defenses cave, as i fall into my grave embraced by twilight, held by night i look for something to hold on to, only to find nothing in sight kneeling in the dewy grass, i rase my eyes to search to search for your face, i raise my hand to feel your embrace slipping through my fingers, falling from my clasp i drop to my knees, face in my hands, why have you forgotten me
