My Pain, Your Suffering
I drown my problems with tears like rain, And suffocate my sorrows with drugs and pain. A gray cloud hovers over my world, I am alone, These lonely streets I will have to roam. My heart started to weaken as I drown it in this harsh drink, Lying in this hospital bed unconscious, what people must think. "It's better this way," echoes off these hollow walls. As the memories of my childhood began to crumble and fall. But nothing ever got better it just got worse, I'm so dehydrated for your love, I crave your thirst. All I wanted was the fairy tale life society desires, But instead my life will burn from this hell of fire. So what will happen now, where does this life lead? I slice you with my words and watch your wounds bleed. I don't want to end it; I'm not back to kill, Since you walked out that day my life went downhill. But instead I want to sit and watch you, As you suffer from the torture I was once put through.
