Its All In the Blood
I think I had it in me, I believe I’ll have it in me, The thing that now lacks in me, The ability to fly free. T’was the time I didn’t know, May be coz they didn’t wanted it to show, But, actually, themselves don’t they know, The art of – “TO LET GO”. They count the meanest li’l one, And feel that’s done, It’s all the way they want it, Afterall, it’s the way they learnt it. Experience comes with age, ( mind you – it isn’t always) And right is the sage, Correct is their thought, And tis’ here they fall short, Of rational to their thought. Around me too, they tried a knot, But I fought and didn’t get caught, I don’t like them, In my life, I don’t entertain them. I don’t say they don’t have to, But why do I have to be bound to? Change do they deny, Its consequences they haven’t seen. And when beggars die, No comets are seen. Dignity is they count, And forbidden is the lounge, Always do they frown, Vent out like clown, And that…….lets me down. I do now know, What they want of me. Yet I don’t know, If they’ll let me be, What I always had in me. Repugnant as they have grown, And in the minds they’ve sown, What they have’nt known, Is to extinction are they prone. If they ever read this, ( I wish they do) They would be – “He wrote this!?!?!?!?!”, But for them tis an absolute fit, For they refuse their guilt. My life’s now shaping, Towards the goals its heading, Which is now ticking, And they’re none to intrude in!!! I don’t care what they think, And no way will I spare them a blink. I possess the “weapon of choice”, And I’ll raise my “VOICE…..”.
