Passing Through Airport Security
Passing Through Airport Security By Elton Camp A sign on the wall had this to say: New security measures begin today Due to terrorism they’ll commence To be done a way much more intense My turn came. I found what they mean We can use this new scanning machine. But radiation from it you’re sure to get And we don’t know the effect of it yet. In the picture it takes, you’ll look nude We hope you won’t think it’s too crude The only ones your image will now see Behind a screen, out of sight, they’ll be If you come to hear a laugh or a sneer They don’t see your name, so never fear If that is not something you want to do We can give a search and pass you thru “Ok, then give me a pat-down and see. Really, how much safer that must be.” Oh, but then to my complete surprise I felt a hand probing between my thighs The security officer went behind my back I felt his hand going right down my crack I began to wonder if next I would find A probe was being inserted up my behind If I was wearing a big turban atop my head And was muttering, “I wish infidels dead,” Then such a search would sure be justified And for such high-risk people be supplied But surely there must be some better way To guard against terrorism faced today If not, even when a trip takes you far, Consider going by bus or train or car
