Everyone else seemed to disappear. I never experienced anything like this before. My how time flies. When you get this feeling. That there is something here that feels right. When you just don’t want it to end. The night drifted away. In quiet talk we greeted the morning. In that small coffee shop. We passed the time like long lost friends. With phone numbers exchanged. We knew it was coming. We had to go our separate ways. Yet with the talk of seeing each other again. Then she was on her way. Still moving like she was dancing. A look back gave me the smile on her face. No more insecurity in my eyes. Years have gone by. Since I started across that floor. I remember that long walk I had alone. Now you’re with me by my side.
