T’ was a lovely summer morn; I was feeling as fresh as dew I grabbed my cup of coffee and settled down to read a few Going down the list, favorites are always first choice So, down the list I scrolled, absorbing, and to each one gave voice Then I stalled.. glanced a title both interesting and mysterious Took a sip of my coffee as I became more curious Presuming it'd be fun to read; how it would compliment the weather So I settled in my comfy chair feeling light as a feather As I read the poem, once..and then again, I gave up feeling lost! Disconnected from the title, the stanzas were as frost! It ruined the warmth I felt, that would have matched the day Feeling robbed I was speechless, there was nothing to say As I turned the page with a click, I had a mind to vent Instead, I simply moved along not leaving a coment!
