Unhealed Wounds
The abuse becomes verbal and then mental. Once he says he sorry then later it becomes physical. The body has bruises that are black and blue. He keeps telling you he loves you. The so called love is really rage fueled by jealousy. “I love you and nobody else will love you like me.” That statement is really resentment. The restless hours and days of arguments and disagreements. The deceit and so many lies. The endless tears that you constantly cry. The hurt and betrayal that you feel inside; Comes from your battered dignity and pride. How long are you going to let this last? His excuses are tinted by his abusive past. You can tell when it is bad when you see scars That’s when things have gone too far “So what you going to do?” Leave or stay it’s strictly up to you. Only you can do what you want or feel But remember those scars are from wounds that are unhealed.
