I Was Wrong
Hoping and praying with everything I've got, That my hard work and desperation was not all for naught I tried to make things better, patch up the hole in your heart But all I did was make it bigger and split it apart I'm sinking, sinking to the bottom of the ocean of my own despair Wondering how this whole disaster will be repaired. I can't take it, It's too much to bare My only wish is that you can find it in your heart to still care. I know, I don't deserve it, with all the trouble I've caused But if I lost you...I'm pretty sure my life will have been paused. Your girlfriend...the saint, Along the way, she found a way not to hate me, which I find quite quaint I was sure she would loathe me, but I found that that wasn't so And just that made it all the more useless to cry and woe With that said and done, I just have to ask you this: Unable to live without someone, haven't you ever felt like you would cease to exist?
