My Poetry (Deepest Passion)
My poetry...It comes from my heart and keeps me sane. Like a canvas of art, I use it to relieve the pain. My poetry...It is 100% all me, and it keeps me alive. Like the love of my family, I need it to survive! My poetry...It comes from my core, like a babe being born. My words open unknown doors, and at times I'm poked by thorns! My poetry...Takes the hurt inside, and relieves me of the stress. The thoughts of suicide, I seem to abandon with such success. My poetry...Is like a breath of fresh air, and the stanzas relieve the pollution. The couplets are like a prayer, and that is my best solution! My poetry...Tell of the heartaches in my life, and the children I love so. My poems can cut like a knife, when I pull back the shade of the poetic window! My poetry...It would be my end, and my life would be crashin. Not having my poetry would be a sin, for it's my deepest passion!! *Written for Amy Green's contest "My Deepest Passion"
