The Key To Immortality
I want to unlock nature, And know all her secrets, Becoming one with the Earth, As Adam and Eve. Speak in our native tongue, Cryptic and beautiful. Interconnected, as we're meant to be. In mind and spirit, Talk without speaking. We'd run through meadow and forest, In our natural state, Sun kissed and smiling, Strewn no longer with cotton or fig leaf. We'd all be labeled flawless, Despite difference and likeness. We'd awake to dawn's glimmer, Baptized in sunlight. We'd sleep by the moon's glow, Christened by stars. We'd dance to the music, Of crickets and bull frogs, The sound of our feet, Beating time with all life. Bare as our birth day, We'd live with all creatures, Respecting the insects, Adoring all plants, from the tree to the grass blade And what they have given. We'd worship each day, Praising each other and life. Unable to tell, Between living and love, As our passion for both, Compares to an overflowing grail. The dawn of each day, We'd greet with celebration, Each twilight we'd frolic, In the paint of the sky, We'd be every shade of azure and vermilion, Becoming each other, and forever we're one.
