Naive
Watching as they live their lives Not worried of the world today Naive to their surroundings Time flies People die Babies born Everyone going on with everyday Day by day Step by Step Life as they know it Would be no more They still don't know Naive to their surroundings Corruption Hatred Disgrace is what our world has become Yet they still go on with their lives As if in their own little boxes Our generation of technology Makes us more secluded from the world's feelings More worried of relationships and fun But not of poverty and war Naive to their surroundings I wonder why How can they seem so unattached From life outside their homes Neighborhoods and schools Naive to their surroundings You just sit and hope Their eyes will open up To reality....as they are Naive to their surroundings
