Two Worlds
The raven ponders its only hell, the master arranges his new lapel-- trapped alone for so many weeks, he turns to us all and speaks-- "Sleep no more my precious bird, for I will tell you what I've heard-- the moon you caw at rules supreme, as if in a dream--each astral beam." An inferno embedded in each seam. "Your beak--dark-- and blacker still, Your wings--without--a cordial span, Your talons--a--true deserving kill, Your frozen--soul-- that opposes man." An inferno embedded in each seam. The devil wonders upon a perch-- darkness becomes its lighted church. Where no mortal kneels to pray, whatever shall this scoundrel say? "Awaken no more my precious king, the march of chaos is what I sing. Guard your heart, and keep it near, I am your nightmare--your greatest fear." An inferno embedded in each seam, bloodied feathers and a silent scream.
