Raven
Behold the raven perched alone, black like rain clouds, cold like stone. You were the muse that Poe would use, that would chill mortals to the bone. I cry deeply for you dear raven, as I sit here in this filth unshaven. And no flesh of mine will you define, my sanity remains the only haven. Bird of darkness with a watchful eye, you cleave the shores that you deny. Hell has no such place for your embrace, for that evil charm that you do apply. Moving closer to your planned demise, no longer can you see through my disguise. A sharpened blade you can not evade, will put an end to your tainted lies. There you lay in that same evil pose, and I am the only one that really knows. You perch no more to view the shore, a darkened soul goes where the wind blows.
