Then a wonderful surprise Sunday morning she cooks breakfast For everybody and tells me not to rise Just relax and don't help The food was delicious to everyone's delight After the meal, I began to write a poem After a while, she calls me And asks me to come, “come where?”, I asked, “Just come here”, she says to me. She led me to the bathroom She had drawn me a bath With oils and sweet perfumes Had set a few candles that were lightened up And had put nearby everything I needed She even put a CD player With my favorite musical playing I was moved to tears by this unexpected gesture It was her gift to me for Mother's Day.
