Nearly You
Sitting stiff with an ache, I think shove this, give me a break. I've been looking for far too long, boredom hits the shelves and i realise it must be gone. All this time I've been looking for what wasn't mine, those words are yours and always will be. I judge them cold but I know they can't be. "look at me and you see my heart, look into my heart, do you see yourself?" Does this mean im only there if i want to be? What if i do, will you feel it too? Nearly you. All this complication, the games and the lies, you stole from me once and i said my good byes. But apologies came and I couldn't let go. So your still here but at a safe distance, is there any point if i can't even reach you? I suppose things are gonna change, whether I like it or not, so do I sit back and just let the boat rock? All these deep little questions are giving me headache. I'll just go with the flow but keep the gas turned low, the fire therefore is yet to be lit. It's up to you now, don't let the moment slip.
