The Angel and Three Wishes
Let me tell you about the amazing dream I had last night I was approached by a beautiful woman bathed in bright light She granted me three wishes with certain rules and conditions I agreed to her terms and asked to begin with her permission My first wish I said, "To have a cure for all cancer." She shook her head and said, "What a splendid choice and answer!" My second wish, "To live in a world free of war, hatred, and disease." She smiled and said, "I'll grant you all of these!" My final wish, I looked at her pretty face and did not hesitate. "I long for your embrace and to find my soulmate." Looking me in the eyes she took my hand To my surprise she said, "Your wish is my command!" *Written specifically for Amy Green's contest "If I could have 3 wishes"
