Trial and Error
Through years of trial and error Here are some excuses I've tried So to all you husbands out there Let my mistakes be your guide Never tell your wife that you broke a nail For she'll look at you, like you're crazy Then she'll hand you a a nail file And probably even call you lazy If she asks you if you picked up her mother Never tell her you forgot Always lie and tell her you did Whether you did or not When Sunday comes, and it's time for church And you know that she always goes You won't watch the game, using this excuse "But dear, I have a run in my hose" Here's another excuse that just doesn't work "I just can't find a thing to wear" Here's one more that's always failed "I can't do anything with my hair" So take it from me, for I am an expert And I have tried them all Even, "These heels are simply killing my feet" And, "If I wear them, I'm afraid I will fall"
