I Have Lived Them Both
Looking for the branches on these buildings tall, looking for the leaves on a plain white wall. Looking for the sky but it's hidden by smog, no wildlife here just a mongrel dog. Winter, summer, they are all the same, an aura built in progresses name. Tarmac rivers with concrete banks, litter mountains and petrol tanks. The only colour a passing car, no stars at night only the local bar. Tall pines and lush green grass, a field of corn and a pool of glass. All the seasons of different hues, nature free and shares her views. The air clean and water bright, cloudless skies and starry night. The rhapsody of the skylarks call, standing in awe at sunsets fall. The quietness, the elegance, the honesty, life with no pace or pretence. This is the place for me.
