How She Made Me Feel
Hey, girl. I miss you so. It's written all over my soul, that I can't look at a girl the way I looked at you. All you've done is make the wound deeper. Yes, I know it's hard to keep a promise but was it really a girl-to-girl talk when you were talking to my friend? I can't stand the lies, I can't stand the lines. Please be honest. Do you practice these when you're at home? I know I've been a fool but I also know you haven't fallen for anybody yet. No one has turned that cold heart warm, nobody has turned your face to that bright side, say has anybody even asked you your name? Yes, I did just ask the major question. Not " Will you marry me," I'm WAY too young for that. It's probably the best step in a relationship, " What's your name?" No answer would've been smart but you did the intelligent thing & just walked away. Like a sheep I followed my shepherd only to find that you and I were closer to being a sure thing than I had thought. We both have the same blood running through our veins. I can't free myself from the warmth that your smile brought into my life, I can't forget all the dances that we couldn't describe....I just can't stop crying over you or your warmth.
